We woke to rain. Ugh. Lots of it. So what's my favorite place to play indoors? Ikea!
We took our first metro ride to get there - it was not so terrifying after all. G loved it! I think he'd be happy just riding the subway all day long.
Being a Sunday, it was packed. Everyone and their nonna was there. We noticed how big their cafeteria seating area was - honestly 3x the size of Portland's. everyone takes their time here. And no meatballs! What?!? But wine and beer, several choices for bread and lots more, shall we say, sophisticated, items were available. These people take their food seriously - even at Ikea.
So why Ikea? Stuff is expensive here! At least, in comparison to home. We needed a few things for the apartment - basics, like silverware. Yup. Exciting, I know. I did get a few Easter eggs, which is fun. (Still don't know how the Easter bunny is gonna work this year. Did you know Mr. Bunny is not a "thing" in Italy?)
So, yeah. That was our big day :)
So delighted to see you are enjoying the joys of Sweden...even in Italy. Jattabra (very good)! Really enjoying following the adventure... :) sian
