Isle sur la Sorgue

Market-day! This village is famous for the brocante market it holds each weekend. I was pretty psyched for this but was sorta disappointed that when we got there, at 9:00, people were just setting stuff out. And no one seemed all that interested in selling, either. Hmmm... (It WAS a little chilly and drizzly, so maybe that's why.) There were several things I would've looooved to have, but they were either far too expensive or were just too tough to get home. Still weeping over the bottle drying racks and the enamelware pitchers!! We did end up getting an educational poster of flowers and their parts. Really cute!

The rest of the family was more interested in the pastries we ate for breakfast and the rivers that went through the village. There were even some ducks and a swan.
