An Afternoon at Parco Del Valentino

A Map of Torino Parco del Valentino is the big green area by the river.
Today was thursday and we stayed at the flat and had a slow morning. We hung out and had some lunch at noon. After lunch Hailey and I played some card games until about 1:30. At that time we left the house because the maid was coming at two. We headed for Parco del Valentino, the big park on the riverside. For more in depth descriptions look in my posts "Parco del Valentino" and "Easter". Once we got into the park we headed for the playground area, which is huge. It has three main play areas, not counting the adult workout area, or the row of fair-style kiddie rides. We used every type of equipment there, but the one standout item was a see-saw that was both bouncy and spinning. It is rather hard to describe. Even though Hailey was still recovering from being sick, she joined me and we spent AGES on it. We talked about how we really want one in our yard. Mom thinks it should be mandatory for anyone who has twins. We stayed at the park playgrounds until about 4. We began to head home and decided to go to the grocery on our way. We also stopped at the bookstore right next to our house. We saw some cute books for kids, and Hailey got Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. We also got acute book with no words for Griffin. Then we went to the grocery and got some chicken and stuff. We then proceeded to go to the other grocery store were we got more food. We then took it all back to our flat and climbed the six flights of stairs with all of our food. Feel free to comment, I'll post again soon.
