Last day with Julie

Today is Wednsday, and sadly our last day with Julie. We decided to go to the Church on the other side of the river called Gran Madre Di Dio. It has a huge almost greek style dome and has corinthian columns in front, it is quite a sight. Unfortunately it was closed and we could not go inside. It was a sunny day though, and Julie wanted to hike up to see Cappucini, which is a large church on the mountainside. We found a way to get up in a park and went. (we left Mom at the Gran Madre Di Dio, so she could lay in the sun. We went up and it was a very small and easy hike, and only took us a few minutes. After we got up we went and looked down on the city. The view was absolutely incredible!! We saw the entire city from up there. After we looked around for a while, we went into the church. We had to be quiet though, because someone was praying. We took a brief look around and headed out of the church. We went then to the building next door to see what it was. We were surprised to find that it was a museum for the Torino alpine club. But it was really expensive so we bought a little book about it and left. Then we went down the hiking trail some and saw a little inlet. We went there and found big statues of sticks for the olympics, and more importantly the olympic torch (we think, why else would it have statues all around it and say olympics)! We took some pics there and headed down to rejoin mom, who had had a lovely time sitting in the sun doing nothing. We then walked back home and played some games. Also we helped Julie finish her packing. That night we headed out to dinner at the same pizzeria we had taken her to on her first night, it was, as always super good and Griffin had leftovers. We went home, I took a shower and headed to bed. Julie left early the next morning, before any of us were up.
